About the Founder

Christy grew up in southern California and from the age of two, she expressed an innate fascination with the sea. Intrinsic in its diversity, beauty and peaceful rapture. In 2008 and 2012 she received her B.S. and M.A., respectively, in Marine Ecology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She has 15+ years of research experience assessing and monitoring kelp forest and wetland ecosystem health, conducting eelgrass habitat restoration, developing and implementing aquatic invasive species management strategies, and activating sustainable solutions to eliminate single-use plastics. She also, has 25+ years of experience with energy mastery, personal power training, deliberate creation and life coaching. Her diverse background, solution oriented outlook, vivacious spirit, and energetic soul bolster her wholehearted mission to expand awareness, inspire transformation and uplift the consciousness of the planet!
